About Me
Born and raised outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, I chose to move to Chicago, Illinois to pursue a bachelor's degree in architecture. Growing up with a love of music, I taught myself to play guitar, drums, and piano. I have a passion in textile design and pattern making that translates directly to the geometry in my architectural practice. In high school, I began studying fashion houses and taught myself to sew and embroider, initially aiming to attend FIT to pursue fashion design. My decision in architecture came from the culmination of all of these design aspirations and the learning experience I gained in drafting classes my four years of high school. Model making and carpentry have became a new passion of mine thanks to my time at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and I continue to utilize and build upon my hand sketching abilities to render conceptual designs.
